「愛の家グループホーム菊川」の取り組みが「介護ビジョン6月号」に掲載されました。

「愛の家グループホーム菊川（静岡県菊川市）」では、ミッケルアートに取り組んでおり、その様子が介護ビジョン2016年6月号に掲載されましたので、お知らせいたします。

新たなコミュニケーションツールである「ミッケルアート」は、今注目されている認知症ケア手法の一つです。昔懐かしい絵画を使用し、昔の出来事を回想しながら会話を楽しむことで、認知症ケアの高い効果が期待されています。

「愛の家グループホーム菊川」では、2015年10月からミッケルアートを実践しています。同ホームの山内ホーム長はこの記事の中で「ミッケルアートはグループホーム運営にも大きなメリットを生んだ」と述べています。理由は2つあります。1つ目は、ご利用者さまとスタッフが、「ミッケルアートを媒介にすることで共通の話題が生まれ、うまくコミュニケーションがとれる」ようになったこと、2つ目は「今まで知らなかった利用者の一面を知ることができた」こと。さらに、「利用者のことをより深く知ることができた結果、今まで以上に利用者に寄り添ったケアが可能になった」と話しています。

また、同ホームでは、6月に「レトロカフェ」をホーム内に開設する予定です。懐かしいポスターを飾るなどレトロな雰囲気を演出する同空間で、ミッケルアートを実施することも検討しています。詳細は、記事をご覧ください。
